Please message me before purchasing if this is not possible.
Shipping
I will always include original packaging when it's available. Many of the items I sell are of high value and fragile. Great care is taken to package these items in a way that will ensure their safety during shipment. My usual method of shipment is USPS Priority Mail 2-Day. Please ensure that the mailing address on record with eBay is complete and correct. I do not charge for boxes, packing material, tape or other handling items. Shipping outside of the contiguous U.S. is via eBay's Global Shipping Program, and all associated charges with the GSP will be determined by eBay. I've had to raise my shipping costs due to the high rates of shipping to the west coast. If you feel shipping rates are high for your distance or if you are on a military base please message me with your zip code. I will send your purchase within my handling time and due to eBay policies I'm unable to hold items for a later date of shipment.
Offers
I spend considerable time researching my listings for a competitive and fair asking price. Many of the listings have offers available to you. This creates flexibility. Before sending an offer understand that I will not accept offers that are poor, especially at 50 percent of the asking price.
Contact
Before
you bid and/or buy, please read the description and review the pictures carefully. Do your research. Contact me through eBay if you should have any questions about my listings or need additional pictures on any of the items.
If you should ever find an error in any of my listings, please let me know so that I can correct it. I make every effort to be accurate and honest in my descriptions. I research these items as thoroughly as I can before listing. Often, the items are retired and information is scarce. I welcome any additional information you may have as it can only improve my performance as a seller. The very last thing I want is for anyone to think I've intentionally misrepresented an item I've sold to them. I much prefer transparency and full disclosure. For that reason, I inspect closely the things I list. I describe and photograph my items in detail including and especially any defects I might find. I do this so that I can sell, and you can buy, with confidence and peace of mind. The item I describe and photograph is the item I will ship to you. Please note: Every effort is made to render color accurately in my photos. However, colors look different under different lighting conditions and will appear different across various electronic media. For that reason, the colors in the photos should be considered representational. Similarly, most of the items I sell here are handmade and hand painted by different artists in various time periods. Unlike mass-produced ware, allowing for some minor variation in both color and design from pieces you've seen, or may already own, is only reasonable. No two pieces are exactly identical, although, by and large, the precision between like items is uncanny. I stand in awe at the level of artistry exhibited by every one of these crafts persons.
Most of the crystal and porcelain items I list I've acquired from estates. A few I've acquired at auctions. In either case, they are pre-owned items, and with rare (and noted, see above) exception, they are in excellent condition with virtually no observable wear. But please know that there may exist some very minor but certainly acceptable wear commensurate with the age of the piece. I am neither selling nor pricing these as new items, even though they are often in like-new condition.
A note of warning: Do NOT contact me seeking to strike a deal outside of eBay on an active listing. This is a violation of eBay policy and will be reported.
Thank you for looking and shopping at Vintage by Jen Shop. I hope you have found something irresistible amongst them. eBay allows me to work fro
